This is a group of five small islands that form a pearl drop shape and produce some very beautifull scenes with the backdrop of the Dağ mountains to the east behind Fethiye. Early and late in the year oftain one can see snow capped mountain ridges with a stunning turquoise blue sea blending in.
In the south of the group there is an island called Seytanlı Adası (which means “the island where the devil lives”). The second island in the south is named after a person who was moved from Greece in 1922, during the exchange of Greeks and Turks. His name was Hacı Halil and olive oil is produced on the island.
Anchor in a secluded bay and enjoy freshly made pancakes from the beach vendor whilst lying back on deck and soaking in the fantastic scenery of mountains and blue seas.
There are red mooring buoys set up around the western and northern edges of most of these islands and you will find bollards placed on land for you to use for your shore line.
View eastwards towards Fethiye from Yassica in March

Evening canoe through the islands
